Yonas & Milka’s destination Wedding in Crete, Greece began far from the Mediterranean shores, in Ethiopia where a shared dream quietly took shape: to celebrate their love on an island filled with light, beauty, and meaning. That dream unfolded gently across Crete, beginning at the elegant Abaton Island Resort & Spa, where time seemed to slow as they stood together, surrounded by the soft hues of the sea and sky. In that moment, it was not just a ceremony, it was a reflection of their journey, their roots, and everything that had led them there.
But this celebration was never just about a destination. It was about home and they carried it with them. Through the rhythm of Ethiopian music, the energy of traditional dance and the symbolic warmth of the ceremony, their heritage was felt in every moment.
